I have some disappointing news. Party in the Dark music festival is no longer taking place in Sutton park. After advertising the event and putting the license up in Sutton park, two members of the public put in a complaint about the festival going ahead, so the charity manager’s decision was that it would be best to cancel the event as it could have been a losing battle.
We have received confirmation today that Antney will be performing as warm up act for UB42, the UK's Nº1 UB40 tribute act.
The show will take place on the 19th of July, at The Arches, in Earlsdon, Coventry.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are 5 pound.
For more information go to www.thearchesvenue.co.uk
Hope to see you all there.

We have recently received confirmation that Antney will be one of the headline acts at the Party In The Dark music festival, which will take place in Sutton Park on the 27th and 28th of July.
The event is being setup by a charity that is dedicated to helping children in the UK with cancer and disabilities. To find out more information about the charity go to www.mattsmission.co.uk
The event will last for two days, and as well as the music and live entertainment, there will be a BBQ, hog-roast, beer tent, DJ's and much much more. Tickets are available in advance at www.mattsmission.co.uk
The festival begins at 18pm on Saturday the 27th of July, and ends at midnight on Sunday the 28th. It will be held at Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Boldemere Gate, West Midlands.
Antney and the crew at Riddim Studios are busy working on new material in preparation for the show, and will be in the studio next week, laying down vocals on two original songs, co-written by Theeyazam, together with Antney, with another 4 more original tracks coming after.
For a great weekend of music, and to support a great charity helping children in the UK, please book your tickets at www.mattsmission.co.uk before they run out.
Nuff Love, and hope to see you all there

Finally the day has come that all the crew at Riddim Studios have been waiting for. The release of the latest track by Antney Hassan, Looking For Love is set for tomorrow.
This song was written by Antney and the latest member of the team, Sam, who has joined Riddim Studios 2 months ago, and is working closely with Antney as co-lyricist and songwriter. The partnership is working really well, with Looking For Love being the first song written together, and we now have two more, which are ready to be recorded in the studio in the next few weeks.
Antney has been singing this track whilst touring with UB42 as part of his set, and the song has been a massive success with the crowd.
The new track will be played tomorrow on the BaggaJo Reggae Radio Show, which begins a 8pm UK time. Here is the link to listen live: http://
The password to download the track for free will be given out on the show, and will be available until 12pm US. After that the track will be available for download for 1 pound, direct from www.antneyhassan.com
There is also a video to accompany the new song, which was recorded in MayB Studios during the vocal tracking, as well at locations in the Dominican Republic, starring Rocio Beltre. The video will be released on Monday.
Make sure you tune into the BaggaJo Reggae show tomorrow to hear it first and get the exclusive pre release download.
